As you might have seen from my new deviations, I have been in Ghana. I went out there with 6 other students from my 6th form and two teachers.
We visited 3 vilages; Tortibo, Xavi (har-vee) and Surveyline, went to the slave fort on Cape Coast, explored Accra and some smaller markets, went to a school called Aggery that we have a 8yr connection with and all the time stayed in some pretty bad 'hotels'!
I have to say, it was a truly lifechanging experiance. Even talking to the Aggery students, who are mostly quite well off, really made you think how easy we have it, in the UK at least.

I recommend [link] for anyone who wants a real experiance of life out there. It's well worth it!
